5. IPA House
The Chairman informed the meeting that he had recently been to a meeting
of the Stone Police Club which raised the issue of turning the rooms upstairs
into a IPA house, this appears to be a good idea on paper as it would be a
perfect stopping off point for members living in the north and Scotland who are
travelling south, but the main initiative would have to
come from Fox Road, IPA Stafford have £3000 of which some of it could be used
to refurbish the flat. This was discussed previously by the Club committee and
issues regarding security of the club were raised. There appears to be a lot of
work to be done regarding this venture and Alan will contact Roger Lincoln and
have preliminary talks with him reporting back at the next meeting.
